Nana

We got a treat a week ago with a visit from my Mom. It was just so great to have her here! The kids enjoyed playing games, eating meals, going on walks, etc etc with their Nana.

I simply enjoyed just having my Mom! She is really so very unique and special. Words just don't do her a bit of justice. We went on long walks, had good conversations, cooked together, and played games. We went to the Arabic baths in Seville one afternoon ( it was her early Mother's Day pressie.) That evening, we followed it up with a few little tapas.

Basically, whatever we did, we just enjoyed being together.
( Does my heart good to know that she still felt the same way too, as she helped take care of our very fevered, vomiting, and lethargic five year old Alec during her visit as well....)
But, Moms just don't seem to mind that part, do they? And boy, are they good a it! I just sat back and took notes!

Above, she is showing off her birthday present. It was a painting of the ocean ( I painted for her for her upcoming birthday.)
She seemed to really like it.... ( Whew, a big sigh of relief for this newbie artist!!!)

Love,
Jenny
