This is "home sweet home" for The Burdges here in Southern Spain. We are the house to the right. We live on the right half of that house. So its a "semi detached" house ( kinda like a duplex in the states..)
We have lived on Duque de Ahumada ( "smoked duke"), in our little village of Gines, for four and a half years now.
Our house is unusual because its 1400 square feet, divided equally on three floors, that includes the top floor ( the attic) which is John's and my bedroom.
We do have an small yard that we are so grateful for, as our our boys! Having a yard in Southern Spain is very unusual. All things are made tiny here, including houses. Therefore, this usually means little or no space around houses. So we are blessed! You will notice there is no garage, or storage building. This makes for very interesting challenges as to where one stores the Christmas decorations, bikes, skateboards, balls, camping gear, etc.. ( So, if you visit, you may want to use caution when looking under my bed!!!!)
Of course, we always love visitors and our doors are always open to each of you, anytime!!!
Love,
Jenny
