When I take the kiddos with me to Starbucks ( not very often I might say,) we always do it as frugal as I can. So, usually, I order the kids their favorite, Carmel Cream Frappuccino. But then I split it 3 ways.... They always seem satisfied (and I am grateful for that,) cause at $3.80 a drink, one shared between the three of them will just have to do! Anyway, last weekend, Starbucks was having "Half Price Happy Hour on Frappucinos," so of course I took the opportunity. We took ourselves for an afternoon date to Starbucks. And the kids each got their very own Frappucino! This meant for each of them:
For Audrey: Getting to eat all the whipcream by herself!
For Aden: Getting to choose the flavor he wanted all by himself!
For Alec: Getting to drink the entire thing all by himself!
For Arian: Well, I am sure he was there to just amuse me with his mere presence! he he! Really, he actually got one when he saw the kiddo's and how good theirs looked...
Frugal Living, Simple treats, having to share, then enjoying the times when not having to share, hopefully one day will help our little ones to have gratitude, joy, and appreciation, in the small things in life.
