Our 14 year old really is growing up in so many ways. It is so neat to watch him continue to mature and grow into the young man the Lord is forming him to be. One thing he has been doing is working several times each week, for two months now, mowing yards and saving diligently. One of the things he has comitted to do with his earnings is to support a missionary family monthly.Also, another little thing he has done, with a bit of his earnings, is love on his family in little ways here and there. To my surprise yesterday, he spoke to my love language in more ways that one..... Yesterday, I opened up a kitchen cabinet, and there before me sat the Starbucks travel mug ( that I have been eyeing for three months now, but was too cheap to spend $20.00 0n.) He left it for me, along with the coolest note.
I can't wait to use it! I also taped the note to my bathroom mirror, to be enjoyed for days many days to come!
