The Ice Cream Man

A favorite thing our kiddos love about our neighborhood is the Ice Cream Man. He begins to make his rounds (in his little yellow bus) about this time of year.

When the kiddos hear his little yellow bus tune coming down the street, they run through the house is scheer delight yelling " He's here. He's here. The Ice Cream man is here!" They love collecting their dollars, running out to him, and choosing a favorite treat.

Now, if I can just help Alec to understand as he innocently says to me, " Mom, the Ice Cream Man is sooooo nice. He even gives me money back!"

( of course this is Alec's change..)

But hey, at least we have an honest Ice Cream Man! I love that!
