VIVA ESPANA!

Spain's win against Germany yesterday brought a huge, happy, celebration in our house ! Spain will now head to the World Cup Championship ( playing against the Netherlands) July 11,1010.
Yesterday, our three boys were super excited to watch the game .They all chipped in and ordered pizza and Rootbeer. They were laughing and jumping for joy from start to finish. Arian was and now is particularly thrilled! He says this has been a long time coming for Spain. I think he has already marked this Sunday's World Cup final as a "National Holiday!"

Of course when he yelled to me "They won! They won! Via Espana!" He was a little perplexed at my first question to him: "Yes honey, but were the King Carlos and Queen Sofia there?"
"Of course they were Mom! It is the play offs!"

Ahhh... at least he got the importance of the significance in my question..... Sure, we both had very different interest at that moment.. But none the less, connected by the love of Futbol!
