Okay, so my three youngest kiddos keep having this conversation with me ( that is hauntingly and familiarly frustrating to "who's on second?" chitter-chatter.....)
It goes something like this, for example:
Curious Kiddo: "Mom, what's for lunch tomorrow?"
Loving Motherly response: "Baked chicken. That's what we will have for lunch tomorrow."
Curious Kiddo: "Well, tomorrow will be today!!!"
Loving Motherly response: "Well, yes... when tomorrow comes it will then be today."
Curious Kiddo: "But, then tomorrow, is today, not tomorrow Mom."
Loving Motherly response ( or at least, still trying:) "Yes, but tomorrow is tomorrow, until tomorrow comes."
Curious Kiddo: "Then, it's today!"
See, Mom, tomorrow really is today, not tomorrow!!!!"
Loving Motherly response: ( I have none..)
I am just thinking about "tomorrow" and how we will have this conversation all over again!!! ( But then, would'nt we really be having it "today?")
