During a few days of our Spring break, we were able to go to Fredricksburg, Tx and stay in a little cabin of our precious friends The Bishops. The cabin sits on 900 acres, so there is lots of landand lots of fun. There was also this fabulous thing called "The Rhino!" It is a four-wheel machine that takes you here and there, and all over the rugged terrain on the land, and boy, is it fun! Each of the three little ones drove me around ( yes they sat, drove, all by themselves!) It was great fun! Arian and Dylan also got their fair share of turns. Those two rode around in the dark, (with headlights on,) chased a few skunks in the day, and saw a family of deers run through the trees in the early evening. It was amazingly beautiful and peaceful there. To go to bed at night with the only sounds being critters and crickets outside... To wake to the sun coming up, and hearing nothing but a blustery wind, and a gentle calling of birds in the distance, was peace to the soul......
Having dinner on the back porch with fun conversation, laughs ( and yes... our Family drawing journals) made for a sweet time. We all could have stayed for days more and hope to go again soon! Thanks again so much Calvin and Cathy! We love you!
Love,
Jenny
